Kathy Heisler, Superintendent

Kathy Heisler came to Lincoln in 1983 to teach K-8th grade physical education and be the K-12 school counselor. Two years later she completed her degree for school administration and was the 7-12 Principal for 20 years. She later obtained an endorsement for Superintendent and has been the Lincoln Schools Superintendent since the fall of 2005.

Mrs. Heisler earned her B.S. degree in K-12th Physical Education and Athletic Training from the University of Montana in Missoula, a Master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling from Northern Montana College in Havre and school administration degree and endorsements from the University of Montana in Missoula.

Laurie Maughan, Principal

Laurie Maughan is a Montana native who grew up in Helena. She is an honors graduate of the University of Montana with a B.A. in Elementary Education. She completed her master’s degree in Educational Leadership from U. of M. in the summer of 2009.  She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, pottery, hiking, and huckleberry picking. She loves to learn and she loves to see her students succeed.

Carol Williams, Business Manager

Vicki Thompson, Secretary

Ms. Williams is the district's business manager and clerk. Formerly Carol was the school’s secretary for five years. After a brief absence, Carol now serves as the business manager and district clerk.

Mrs. Vicki Thompson is our secretary and receptionist for Lincoln Public Schools. Mrs. Thompson was formerly a substitute teacher for LPS.

Lincoln's Board of Trustees

The Lincoln Public School District #38 has a board of five elected trustees. Each trustee is elected to a three-year term, with trustees serving alternating terms. The current board of trustees is as follows:
